Try a split keyboard at your own desk before you buy one.

TryKeeb lets people across Europe borrow ergonomic keyboards from owners who aren't using theirs. A few days of real typing tells you more than any review or printed layout.

Boards we want on the shelf

From compact 34-key layouts to sculpted keywells and tented splits—these are the boards worth trying at your own desk.

Default layouts, simplified. Real boards differ in key sizes, angles and keywells.

What decides whether a board fits you doesn't show in photos.

Ergonomic keyboards differ in ways that depend on your hands, your desk and your habits. You find out by typing on one for more than an afternoon.

One marketplace, two halves.

You want to try one

You're curious about split keyboards but don't want to buy three to find the right one.

  • Borrow a specific board for a fixed trial period.
  • It arrives at your door, ideally from someone nearby.
  • Send it back with a prepaid label, then buy your own or try another.

You have one in a drawer

You own a board you're not using right now, maybe the one before your current one.

  • List it and decide when it's available.
  • Get paid for each trial instead of letting it collect dust.
  • Deposits, shipping and ratings are handled by the platform.

Many people are both. Lend out the Corne you outgrew while you try a Glove80.

How a trial will work

  1. Find a board

Browse what's available and pick one close by. Inside the EU, parcels cross borders without customs.

  2. Book a trial

Choose how long you want it. A deposit or payment hold protects the owner.

  3. Type on it for real

Use it for your actual work, with your own layout, for days instead of minutes.

  4. Return and decide

Return it with the included label. Buy your own, or try a different shape next.

Built so lending out your board feels safe

Deposits or payment holds

Borrowers authorise an amount up front, released when the board comes back as it left.

Protection against loss and damage

If a parcel goes missing or a board returns damaged, the owner isn't left alone with it.

Tracked shipping both ways

Labels for the trip there and back, so nobody has to figure out couriers.

Ratings for both sides

Owners and borrowers review each other after every trial.

TryKeeb isn't live yet. These are the protections we're building before the first trial ships.
